Dr Wang's Biography

Dr Wang's Biography

From Darkness to Sight shares the remarkable life journey of Dr. Ming Wang, a world-renowned laser eye surgeon and philanthropist. It is an inspirational story of how one man turned fear, poverty, persecution, and prejudice into healing and love for others.

A: Yes.

We are anterior segment specialist (cornea - for SMILE/LASIK, lens - for cataract surgery), and though we do not treat the retina, in many patients who have retinal problems, we still can help them improve their eyesight by removing their cataracts.

So,
-          If you have not had cataract surgery yet, we would like to see you, to perform a thorough exam, to see if we could help you improve eyesight by removing the cataracts. And if referral to a retinal specialist is needed, we can do that too.
-          If you already have had cataract surgery, then, we will be happy to refer you directly to a retinal specialist.
