Wang Vision Institute has been a great experience. Everyone has been extremely nice and I never had to wait long to be seen. Dr. Wang was very nice and informative. He spent a lot of time talking about the procedure and also fit me in for Lasik the same day as my consultation. All around wonderful experience.

I had a great experience with Wang Vision. The staff were all very professional and made me comfortable throughout the process. I appreciated the follow up by Dr. Wang the day of and after my procedure. It’s great to be able to see so clearly so soon after my Lasik procedure.

Dear Dr. Wang,

Thank you so much for this blessing for my son Aaron Martin, to receive this LASIK eye surgery. Three days ago was his birthday, and he won this LASIK eye surgery when he attended the Healthy 4 Life Expo on Sunday October 20th. He was so thrilled when he heard his name announced as the winner! Not only was it a great birthday gift, but a wonderful gift for confirmation of a new beginning as we have recently moved here from the San Francisco Bay Area. This is a wonderful turning point for him.

Aaron has overcome many difficulties in his life. He is a bright, smart man that has survived testicular cancer and is cancer free for eight years now. That has been very hard in his life, as it not only caused physical trauma, but the mental and emotional stress, and depression…that has been a huge struggle to overcome. He has never been married or fathered children, but has been a great support to many single mothers who have needed help with transportation, baby sitters, or basic chores.

Aaron is currently seeking employment in Tennessee, and wants to give back to the community that has given him the support to survive and get to where he is today.

Thank you, Dr. Wang, from the bottom of my heart for this gift of new eye sight for Aaron. May God continue to bless you and all of your staff.

Sincerely,

Grace Martin

“I have also had the pleasure of hearing Dr. Wang speak several times to Liberty groups in Tennessee. When you understand that he was a victim of Mao's policies and how hard he fought to get into college rather than be consigned to a labor farm, you would appreciate his drive for achievement and excellence. When you hear him describe how he came to America with $50, a Chinese-American dictionary, and one contact here, it will make his accomplishments seem all the more extraordinary.  When you know about the inventions and processes he has created, you will recognize that he is a gifted person.  And when you hear him play the Chinese “erhu” (similar to our violin), you would also appreciate the talents and soul of an exceptional man --Someone who has the delicate skills to do eye surgery along with the artistic skills to play a fine musical instrument.  It should also be said that Dr. Wang has an annual "Eye Ball" fundraiser to help patients needing surgeries that they cannot afford while he also provides pro-bono services for many.  He loves this country because he has seen the worst of Communism and Socialism.  He has experienced first-hand and KNOWS the promise and hope of America at its finest!  He is a special, remarkable man and we are blessed that he choose to make his way to America!  Thank you Dr. Wang!”

Thank you again for all you do!

When I first came to Dr. Wang I was nervous, not about the procedure, but about whether or not I would qualify. A few years ago I had accompanied my friend to Dr. Wang’s office for his procedure, and I was truly impressed by the quality of care offered by the WVI. In terms of office-care, all of the staff were extremely helpful and took the time to answer all of our questions. They didn’t just throw paper-work or medical jargon at us and then walk out the door, as is often the case at doctor’s offices, but they took the time to hear our concerns and then addressed them thoroughly.

I know most people are probably nervous about the procedure but (and I can’t stress this enough)-don’t be! Not only is Dr. Wang widely respected within his field, and certainly well-qualified, but he really does take the time to work with each patient to achieve the best possible outcome for each person.

I mentioned earlier that I was more concerned about whether or not I would qualify. I have horrible eyesight in addition to a high astigmatism and had suffered with this for years. When LASIK was first started I was told that I would not qualify for any of the procedures. I am extremely fortunate the Dr. Wang happens to specialize in the area of astigmatism, and I can’t thank him enough for the fact that three days after my procedure I was back at work, and when I returned to the WVI for my follow-up appointment I had near perfect vision.

Years of having glasses has conditioned me to reach for my nightstand every morning when I wake up. Every morning, though, I open my eyes and realize I can actually read my alarm clock, no glasses necessary, and every morning I am reminded of how grateful I am to have gone to WVI. Thank you Dr. Wang. I know how cheesy it sounds, but you really have changed my life and I am eternally grateful for your work.

Everything at WVI was great! Dr. Wang, every tech and doctor were very nice and courteous. We had the pre-op and surgery in the same day. It took around 3.5 hours for everything. There was no waiting around; they kept us busy between work ups and explaining the procedure. Dr. Wang was great. He talked to me through the procedure and kept me informed of what was happening. I had a great experience and my vision is everything I expected.

Dr. Wang and Dr. Waymire were so clear and careful in explaining to me and even showing me what to expect from Lasik surgery. I have several eye issues and there were multiple areas that had to be addressed and they were wonderful about going over everything. It is so comforting when Dr. Wang prays over his patient before surgery.

I have been wearing glasses since I was ten years old. This hindered my interest in playing sports and participating in several activities. I even had trouble with simple things like waking up in the morning searching for my glasses. Now, thanks to Dr. Wang, I feel free. After Lasik, I can see much better than I could even remember. I am able to do many things I couldn’t before, and my glasses no longer limit me. This has been a life changing event for me.

The preparation was the longest part of the process. The actual surgery only took about 10-20 minutes and the staff talked to me the entire time. Everyone was friendly and it was a great experience.

My procedure was handled in a professional manner. I was impressed with results. I would recommend Wang Vision to everyone. Life without glasses or contacts is so much easier.
